We are certified members of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association. Being certified means that we will abide by the N.A.D.C.A. code of ethics. NADCA continuously monitors the HVAC industry and keeps its members aware of upcoming developments, resulting in on-going improvements in their standards. We keep abreast of those standards, so that our equipment and cleaning procedures are kept at a cutting-edge status.
NADCA requires all certified ASCS (Air System Cleaning Specialist) members use Source Removal Methods to perform HVAC cleaning. Source removal methods are the most economical and through way to clean air systems. What this means is that we do a manual entry, and using hepa vacuums along with hand cleaning, we clean the ductwork. Where the ducts are too small, we use vacuum brushes and compressed air.
This method is recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency. We adhere to the NADCA standard 1992-01, which mandates that all surfaces of the ductwork and the air system must be visibly clean of dust and debris.
NADCA Members have signed a Code of Ethics stating they will do everything possible to protect the consumer, and follow NADCA Standards for cleaning to the best of their ability. Air duct cleaning companies must meet stringent requirements to become a NADCA Member. Among those requirements, all NADCA Members must have certified Air System Cleaning Specialists (ASCS) on staff, who have taken and passed the NADCA Certification Examination. Passing the exam demonstrates extensive knowledge in HVAC design and cleaning methodologies. ASCS's are also required to further their education by attending seminars in order to maintain their NADCA certification status.
